As a patient at Nephew PT, you are our greatest asset. From the time you walk in the door on your first visit to the day you receive discharge paperwork--and long after you've left our office, you are of utmost importance to us.
We love seeing you, not only because we like to get to know you better, but because we know you've committed to getting better if you're here. Whether your treatment lasts a few weeks or a few months, we can't think of anything more exciting that seeing you get back to your best self. We hope that's evident while you're in our care!
When you finish therapy, we trust that we've worked together to help you improve your quality of life. Along the way, you've most likely increased your range of motion, your level of healing and/or your confidence in your body's ability to function the way it was originally intended. We celebrate that you leave us stronger and more equipped to tackle your favorite activities--and we love to have your therapy story to share with others for this very reason.
As you wrap up your time with us at Nephew PT, we hope that our relationship will continue beyond your last appointment. That's why our Discharge Packet incorporates more than just paperwork to take back to your doctor's office. We want to hear about your experience--what was good or great, what you loved about being here, what we can improve for the future. Along with your completed survey, we gain a great deal of helpful information from your story, which is why we place such emphasis on it :) Not only can we better understand your perspective and your health journey, but often, if you're willing to share it, your personal experience is extremely helpful for others who are considering or beginning Physical Therapy treatment.
If you've been a patient of ours in the past but have never shared your experience on paper or in person, we would love to hear from you! Please email your story to info@nephewpt.com, or visit us here and scroll to the bottom of the page to download our complete discharge packet.
Bonus...Once you've completed and returned your discharge packet to our office, we'll be delighted to give you your very own Nephew PT T-Shirt, in the size and color of your choice. Now isn't that fun?!
Welcome to the Nephew PT & Massage blog. Here you'll find helpful tips, info on upcoming events, and thoughts from our team. Thanks for reading!

Calling All Weekend Warriors
Like you, we've noticed that the Summer is shaping up to be a lovely, recreation-friendly season this year--and we know you're probably already taking advantage of warmer temps and longer days as you boat, fish, bike, swim, run, play tennis, garden and enjoy your favorite warm-weather activities. This weekend is right around the corner, with plenty more in sight...
So how are you feeling? After a full weekend of keeping busy, playing sports and running around with your family, do you enter a new week full of energy and without pain?
If not, what types of things are you doing during the week to alleviate your leftover aches and pains, so that you're back on the go for the next, fun-filled weekend?
We believe that you should be able to enjoy your everyday (every weekend:) activities without limitation, and if you've got an injury, concern, pain or strain, we want to help. So...if Monday rolls around and you're feeling a little less limber and sprightly than you were when the weekend began, give us a call, at 796.9391, or visit us on the web.
We'll be happy to help you with a referral for PT, so that Melissa or Joan can have you back on the go before the next big weekend comes around. We can also schedule you with Stacey, our Massage Therapist, to relax those tense muscles and give you the boost you need to be on top of your game throughout the week. We love to see you at your best, and we love to help you get you there!
Play on, Weekend Warriors, play on!
